MARRIAGE SERVICE FOR JUDGE BOYD MOSSMAN
Dear friends, we are gathered her today to join (Bride) and (Groom) together in matrimony. Matrimony is an honorable estate. It signifies to us the union of two persons and therefore is not by any of us to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly; but discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and with the respect of one for the other. Into this honorable estate of matrimony these two persons come now to be joined.
(Bride) and (Groom), you have journeyed to this place and time to join in marriage. Your presence reflects the inner knowledge, love, and mutual respect which you have found and developed together and which you seek to preserve forever.
With mutual sense of values and common objectives, you are ready to share the warmth of married life together. As students of nature and teachers to each other, your relationship will be strengthened with the open communication and honesty which you recognize as critical elements of true love.
As you fulfill your lives with happiness, trust, and constant friendship, you will create an atmosphere in which each can grow. No greater blessing can come to your marriage than your continued love and respect for each other.
Secure on this foundation, your love signifies a relationship in which "the independence is equal, the dependence is mutual, and the appreciation is reciprocal."
(Groom), will you please repeat after me to (Bride). "I, (Groom), take you, (Bride), to be my wife, and in doing so commit my life to you, to share and to shelter, to give and to receive, to inspire and to respond, to speak and to listen, a commitment, which I make in love, will keep in faith, live in hope and eternally renew."

(Groom), do you have (Bride's) ring? Please place the ring upon (Bride's) finger and repeat after me, "With this ring, I thee we. Take it and wear it, as a pledge of my love."
(Bride), do you have (Groom's) ring? Please place the ring upon (Groom's) finger and repeat after me, "With this ring, I thee we. Take it and wear it, as a pledge of my love."
